Hello Thrush Nation,

We would like to bring your attention to the newly released Lead Edge Shields by Thrush. Last year, we successfully installed one kit on an H80 before the season started.

Yorkton Aircraft was the first to install this kit and provided Thrush with a detailed report of the process, along with some suggestions for improvements to the kit for this year's release.

This summer, Doug encountered a flock of ducks which led to multiple bird strikes on his wings. Remarkably, there was no wing damage, only duck guts on the leading edge and wing. This incident underscores the importance of this kit in protecting your leading edge.

If you are interested, we recommend ordering these kits before your annual maintenance to minimize waiting times. We anticipate that once Thrush makes an official announcement, lead times will increase.
